1. Who we are
CyberFrame ("we", "us") is a cybersecurity consulting firm operating in South Africa. We act as a Responsible Party under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) for personal information you submit through this website.
2. What we collect
- Inquiry data: name, email, company, service interest, and message you submit via our contact form.
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, and submission timestamp for abuse prevention.
- Engagement data: information shared during consulting engagements is governed by a separate engagement agreement and, where applicable, a data processing agreement.
3. Why we process it
- To respond to your inquiry and provide information you requested.
- To detect and prevent abuse of the contact form (rate limiting, bot filtering).
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Lawful basis
We rely on your consent (ticked on the contact form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and securing the site.
5. How we store and protect it
Inquiries are stored in a server-side file with access restricted to authorised personnel. Rate limiting, input sanitisation, and content security policies are enforced. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures in line with section 19 of POPIA.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share only with processors strictly necessary to operate this site (e.g. hosting). Any cross-border transfer is made in line with section 72 of POPIA.
7. Retention
Inquiry records are retained for up to 24 months from last contact, after which they are deleted unless a contractual relationship requires longer retention.
8. Your rights
Under POPIA you may: request access to your personal information, request correction or deletion, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za). To exercise any right, email info@cyberframe.co.za.
9. Cookies
This site does not set tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log requests per their policy.
We measure visits with Matomo, hosted on our own server, in a cookieless mode that honours Do Not Track. IP addresses are anonymised before they are stored, and the data is not shared with any third party.
